These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Canvio mobile and desktop application ("App") developed by Aftab Fazal Qayum ("I", "me", "my"). By downloading or using the App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
You must be at least 4 years old to use the App. If you are under the age at which you can agree to these Terms or authorize an online account in your jurisdiction, a parent or guardian must agree and provide any required consent on your behalf. Apple and Google accounts are also subject to their providers' age and parental-consent requirements.
I grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, solely for personal, non-commercial purposes, in accordance with these Terms and Apple's App Store Terms of Service.

You own all content you create in Canvio — canvases, drawings, notes, images, audio, PDFs, and any other material ("Your Content"). I claim no ownership over Your Content.
By syncing Your Content to the cloud you grant me a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license solely to host, store, reproduce, transmit, and display Your Content as technically necessary to operate and secure the App. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, subject to limited backup retention and legal obligations.
You are solely responsible for Your Content. You agree not to create, upload, or store content that:
You may sign in to Canvio using Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google. By choosing a sign-in provider, you authorize that provider and Supabase Auth to share or process the account information needed to authenticate you, which may include a unique account identifier, email address, name, and profile image. Canvio does not receive your Apple or Google password.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Apple or Google account and for activity conducted through your Canvio account. Notify me immediately at ak375456@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized use.
Your use of Google Sign-In is also subject to the Google Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy. Your use of Sign in with Apple is subject to Apple's applicable terms and privacy policy. Google and Apple do not sponsor or endorse Canvio.
Third-party authentication and cloud services may be interrupted, changed, restricted, or discontinued by their providers. This may temporarily affect sign-in or cloud sync. I am not responsible for third-party account suspension, provider outages, or changes made by those providers, but I will use reasonable efforts to maintain Canvio's integrations.
Canvio Pro is an optional paid upgrade available as a monthly subscription, yearly subscription, or one-time lifetime purchase. All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store.

You may use the App as a guest without signing in where guest mode is available. Guest data is stored only on your device. I am not responsible for data loss resulting from device failure, app deletion, loss of the device, or operating system changes when using guest mode. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups or exports where the App provides those options.
Canvio's collection and use of personal information, including information received through Google Sign-In and Sign in with Apple, are described in the Privacy Policy. By using the App, you acknowledge that policy.
I strive to keep the App available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. I may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue the App or a feature to improve the service, address security or legal requirements, or respond to circumstances outside my control. Where reasonably possible, I will provide notice of material changes.
The App, including its name "Canvio", design, code, graphics, and content I create, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of the App or third-party services to you.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. I do not warrant that the App, Google Sign-In, Apple Sign-In, Supabase, or cloud sync will always be available, secure, or error-free.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, I shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of data, profits, or access, arising from your use of or inability to use the App or a third-party service. My total liability for claims arising from these Terms or the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App during the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
These Terms remain effective until terminated. You may terminate them by deleting your Canvio account, if any, and uninstalling the App. I may suspend or terminate access if you materially violate these Terms, create security or legal risk, or misuse the service. Where appropriate, I will provide notice and an opportunity to address the issue.
Deleting your Canvio account does not delete your Apple or Google account. You may separately revoke Canvio's access through your Apple or Google account settings.
You acknowledge that these Terms are between you and me only, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App. If the App fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price, if any, as required by its terms or applicable law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple is not responsible for addressing claims relating to the App or your use of it. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of Pakistan, except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your jurisdiction requires otherwise.
I may revise these Terms by posting an updated version with a new "Last updated" date. If changes are material, I will provide additional notice where reasonably possible or legally required. Continued use after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes acceptance, except where applicable law requires express consent.
