SnapFrame is a fully offline app. We do not collect, transmit, store, or share any personal data or usage information. Everything stays on your device.

About This Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how SnapFrame ("we", "our", or "the app") handles information when you use our mobile application, available on Android and iOS.

SnapFrame is a screenshot beautifier and social post creator. The app works entirely on your device — no account is required, no internet connection is used, and no data ever leaves your phone.

What We Don't Collect

We collect absolutely nothing. This includes:

No personal information (name, email, phone number)

No usage analytics or app behavior tracking

No crash reports or diagnostics sent to any server

No device identifiers or advertising IDs

No location data

No photos or screenshots uploaded anywhere

No third-party SDKs, analytics, or ad networks

03 — App Permissions

Permissions We Request

SnapFrame requests only the permissions needed to function. Here's exactly what each permission is used for:

Lets you pick screenshots from your gallery to import into the editor.

Allows SnapFrame to save your beautified images directly to your photo library.

Media Location (Android)

Required by Android to preserve any location metadata already embedded in photos you import. We never read or use this data.

Needed on older Android versions to read and write images from the gallery.

🔐 Important Note on Permissions

All permissions are used solely for local, on-device operations. Your photos are never uploaded, transmitted, or shared with any server or third party.

04 — Local Storage

Data Stored on Your Device

SnapFrame stores the following data locally on your device only:

Export history thumbnails (small previews of your past exports)
Your app preferences (theme mode, display settings)
Text post content and editor settings you've configured

This data never leaves your device and can be deleted at any time from the app's Settings → Clear Export History.

05 — Third Parties

Third-Party Services

SnapFrame does not integrate any third-party services, including:

No analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Firebase, Mixpanel, etc.)
No advertising networks or ad SDKs
No crash reporting services (Sentry, Crashlytics, etc.)
No social login or authentication providers
No cloud storage or sync services

06 — Children's Privacy

Children's Privacy

SnapFrame does not collect any data from any users, including children under 13 (COPPA) or under 16 (GDPR). Since no data is collected at all, SnapFrame is safe for all ages.

07 — Updates

Changes to This Policy

If we ever update this Privacy Policy, the new version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Since we collect no data today, any future changes would only occur if we add new features that require it — and we will always notify you clearly.
